I’m not sure who these people are, but I keep getting automated messages saying my BT broadband and internet will be disconnected if I don’t press ‘1’ to talk to their ‘tech support’. Thing is, I don’t even have BT internet or broadband. They’ve called me a few times from different numbers, all with the same message. It reminds me a lot of those supposed ‘Amazon’ calls I’ve had lately on both my mobile and landline. Pretty obvious scam trying to trick you into giving away your info.
