It just gave me the exact same automated message, but didn’t show any number. I got here after googling the phrase.

Got a recorded message from someone claiming to be BT Internet. They said they've been trying to reach me but will cut off my landline and internet because they found some weird activity on my account. They told me to press 1 to talk to an agent or something... sounded dodgy to me.
