I didn’t pick up the phone at first, but after reading some of the earlier comments, I decided to ring them back. The person on the line said they were from BT Openreach and mentioned our neighbourhood had just had a fibre upgrade (which is accurate). They were eager to get me to switch to a new provider. I politely told them to take me off their list, like someone else said before, if I ever want to change providers, I’ll handle it on my own!
