I got a call from this number today but when I answered there was nobody on the line. I saw that other people got calls from it in the middle of the night too, around 2am ish. I received one at about 2:15, it was a private number though, but I think it was the same caller. If it happens again during the night I'll be reporting it for sure.

Someone rang me claiming they were from BT saying my internet was under threat from hackers. When I asked how to be sure it wasn’t a scam, the voice suddenly switched to some foreign language and then cut off straight away!

I get calls pretty much all day long, like multiple times. A lot of the time, no one even says anything and then just hangs up. Other times they say they're calling from BT. Honestly, it's getting really annoying!

This number rang me loads today, like 5 times! Everytime I pick up, it just goes silent and then I hear some recorded voice saying 'Goodbye'. Finally caught them once, a nice sounding Indian woman who said her name was Charlotte, but when I asked her to say it again, she just cut me off. Very odd!

This number has rung me twice this week, each time saying they're from BT and claiming my internet account's been hacked. They told me to turn on my computer straight away and said they could fix things if I let them into my PC. When I asked a few questions, they just ended the call. Seems dodgy to me.

Some bloke kept asking for a Mrs something or other, I wasn't sure who he meant at first. After I asked him to say it again, I realised he definitely wasn't looking for me. I told him he'd got the wrong number and he just hung up. Then today he rang back but just stayed silent the whole time. He's been calling me at around 9.45 to 10 in the morning for four days running now.

Was woken up at 2:56am by my phone ringing, but as soon as I answered, it stopped. I used 1471 to check the number and ended up finding it on this site. For the last two weeks, I’ve had calls from this company twice a day, claiming my IP address is at risk and will be shut down within 24 hours. Apart from confronting these scammers in person, does anyone have any advice on how to block these persistent calls? Really appreciate any help!

Had a call like this just now, a lady was insisting I let her get into my computer straight away. Told her I don’t own a computer at all, she mentioned any computer, still told her no. She got annoyed, asked to talk to the manager and then just ended the call. The woman spoke with an Indian accent and was really pushy - definitely sounds like a scam!

Got a call from a number with a Tunbridge Wells code but turns out it was just some scammer trying to trick me into giving info or messing with my computer. They pretended to be from BT and were going on about my IP address. Total rubbish. These people are just con artists, so watch out!

I just got a call from this number and assumed it was local to Tunbridge Wells. The bloke on the other end had a really thick Indian accent and said he was from BT. He claimed there was something wrong with my router and that hackers were trying to get into my internet. I immediately realised it was dodgy and ended the call. How do they even manage to spoof the Tunbridge Wells area code like that?
