Really annoying - kept pushing me to make a claim about a car crash from years back. That case was already sorted, the other driver covered the excess, I had a courtesy car, no one got hurt - everything was fine. They still tried to make me chase it. I get loads of calls about the same thing from various firms. Feels like insurance companies let out info about accidents and these places just snap it up to bother you non-stop.

I got a ring from a bloke named Francis who was going on about some motor accident payout and claimed he was linked with the government and the Motor Insurance Bureau or summat. He kept tight-lipped about his last name and where he’d gotten my details, so I just ended the call. If they try again, I’m thinking of pretending to be interested just to mess about and waste their time.

They've been ringing me for several days now. I picked up today and they claimed it was about some damage to my car over the past two and a half years. I told them I hadn't had any damage to my vehicle. Then she asked if someone else in my house might have had an accident, but I said no one has had any crash in the car they're asking about, so whatever's happened to their own cars doesn’t really matter. I just don’t get how people can do a job where they have to knowingly mislead others to get business.
