Got a call from a bloke claiming to be with BT. I never gave my name but he started by asking how I was doing today. I got suspicious straight away and asked, "Are you just calling to ask how I'm doing?" and then he hung up on me. This isn’t the first time either - loads of calls and texts lately, all about reconnecting my internet or warnings that my service will be cut off. They never actually say the name of my provider, just “your provider”, pushing me to ring some dodgy premium number. Seems like a classic scam to me.
