Got a call from some dodgy lot pretending to be from 3 telling me I could upgrade my phone since I was supposedly in the last year of my contract. Thing is, I actually just got a new phone like a couple of weeks ago, so no way!

These folks are total scammers. They say they’re ringing from the Three network, but they definitely aren’t from Three at all.

They said they were a comparison service for the cheapest mobile deals, encouraging me to upgrade. I told them I don’t handle these things over the phone, so they promised to email me details. Never got that email, but they rang again the very next day. When I said I wanted a quote in writing, they insisted I answer some questions first, which I wasn’t happy about. Had a look on their website anyway, and all their plans were way more expensive than my current one.
