Up until today, this was my number, but I had to switch it because scammers have been using it to spoof. Yesterday afternoon alone, I got over 50 calls, probably from folks returning calls after scammers rang them showing my number. It was ex-directory and withheld before, so it shouldn’t have appeared on caller ID. Please don’t pick up if this number rings you, and never share any details - just end the call straight away, they’re not to be trusted!

Today, on 08/03/18, I got a call from someone speaking with an Asian accent. The background noise was so loud, it was almost impossible to make out what they were saying. From what I caught, they claimed to be from BT Openreach and warned me my internet would be disconnected for a week. Honestly, I don’t think a proper BT rep would sound so dodgy or have that much noise in the background.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, warning me that my phone line was gonna get cut off. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.
