I got a call from this number saying I had a PPI refund coming in 15 days. They told me I had to get life insurance first before they could get me the tax back. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

I reckon that was a total scam call. Felt really fake from the start.

Got a call from a bloke with a white English accent, a recorded message saying I was under investigation by HMRC for tax evasion and I needed to call them back. Tried ringing a few times to find out which company it was from, but the line was always busy. Pretty sure it was just some scam or a cold call tactic.

Got a call from this number and they said they were from HMRC. They wanted my details, even asking for an address I don’t even live at. When I told them I wasn’t giving any info, the person on the line started swearing at me. Proper rude!
