I hung up just as they were picking up the call.

Got a call from a man with an Asian accent claiming he was calling from Microsoft. He said my computer had been flagged for suspicious activity by hackers trying to use it for dodgy stuff. When I mentioned I actually use an Apple, he got quite rude and said, “Oh, so you think you’re clever, eh?” I told him, “Nope, I just know you’re a scammer.” Then he shot back, “Haven’t you ever scammed anyone yourself?” I said no and asked how he could live with himself trying to con people. When he started getting even nastier, I just ended the call.

Beware of scams - I got a call from some guy with an Asian accent saying he was from Microsoft. He kept insisting that my computer was hacked and I needed to log in so he could “fix” it. Turns out he just wanted access to my PC to do the hacking himself. These scammers are proper dodgy and not to be trusted.

Got a call from some dodgy Asian bloke trying to hack into my computer. I just hung up straight away. It's mad the authorities still haven’t cracked down on these scammers. Why are we even letting these people rip us off with our own cash? Proper frustrating!

I got a call from a man with an Asian accent who said he was from Microsoft's tech support. He told me my computer was hacked or something, but the moment I said no and refused to switch it on, he just ended the call straight away.

Yeah, something similar happened to me and I played along just for a laugh. Didn’t let her anywhere near my laptop though. It was quite amusing hearing her say, “Sir, are you still there??” Then I grabbed a drink and told her I was just having a wee. She actually put me on hold after that, and that’s when I decided to hang up.
