This number rang me and it was some timeshare company saying I had only 3 weeks left to use it. I got scammed 20 years ago and never actually used it. They just cancelled it recently but these lot still keep hassling me. I told the guy I'm not interested and I didn’t believe a single thing he said, sounded like a scam all over again. Then he just cut me off without a word. Honestly, don’t bother with these people, just hang up straight away.

They called me - I've got Sky Caller ID and the name showed as Louie. He was asking for Mr or Mrs something - messed up my last name a bit and I haven’t been married for about ten years now. Then he tried my full name but got both my first and last names wrong. I kept asking who he was and told him my name was a bit off. Then he just cut the call!!!

Got a really rude lady on the phone, shouting like mad, but there was a radio blasting in the background. Maybe if she turned it down a bit she wouldn’t have to yell so much! She mentioned something about a holiday, but when I tried to reply she just talked over me and started on about money. She wasn’t interested in listening at all, so I just ended the call. No idea who keeps ringing me at all times! We've just stopped picking up now and let it go to voicemail, hoping they actually leave a message - which they never do! Seriously, it's so frustrating getting calls non stop all day and into the night, sometimes as late as 10pm! Best thing is not to bother answering at all, maybe just block the number instead.

28/05/18 Got a call from some holiday firm saying I had 3 weeks free holiday to use, which sounded a bit dodgy. I told the woman I wasn’t interested (nothing’s really free these days). She was quite polite and took no for an answer. I also asked her to delete my info from their list, and she said she would. We’ll see if they actually follow through.

Received a couple of calls from 01892597780 about me supposedly checking out a website. Told them they had no right to contact me and I wasn't interested. Then got a third call from 01491693850, same company, same story. Told them again I wasn’t interested, and they said their colleague claimed I was. I ended up calling their mate a plonker. Warned them if this kept up, I’d report the numbers and told the caller to do one.

This evening, precisely at 18:56, I received a call from this number, but they hung up as soon as I picked up. Without wasting a moment, I tried to call back, but all I got was a voicemail stating something along the lines of, "We’re sorry we missed your call. Our office hours have ended. Please leave your name and number, and we’ll return your call." Having spent over 17 years up north and still coping with the loss of my father a year and a half ago, it’s a bit of a lonely existence, especially since he was the last family member I had in my hometown of Tunbridge Wells. After calling back four times to no avail, I decided to look up the number on Google, which conveniently led me here. I've now added this number to my blocked list. Cheers, Anita.

Got a call from a woman who was really nice, not at all pushy, saying my CLC membership holiday deal was about to expire today. She mentioned something about a platinum membership that meant I could have three holiday weeks over five years plus a free one-week trip to Benidorm if I paid a certificate fee of £359. Asked her to ring back so I could look into it more closely, and that’s when I figured it wasn’t genuine. When she called back, I told her I wasn’t interested and she took it well, no hassle at all.

Got a call on Tuesday offering me a runner-up holiday for £168 anywhere I wanted. Felt dodgy but decided to humour them! Managed to confuse the first caller, then a second bloke got on saying the first was just a newbie! They gave me the usual sales pitch but we got disconnected halfway through. Said they were from LiLow Holidays - looked them up on Trip Advisor and it’s a total scam. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from a bloke asking for £198 to renew a timeshare for 3 more years, said it expires tomorrow! Claimed it was about two weeks at Barnsdale Resort in Rutland. Tried to tempt me with a free weekend stay if I paid up. Seemed quite convincing if you weren’t careful, as he named other resorts and showed he knew his stuff about timeshares. Pretty clear it was just a scam to nab my card info.
