Got a call from this motor assist place asking if I’d been in any crashes over the past 2 and a half years, trying to get my info for some database. When I asked what database, the lady just clammed up. Then when I asked what they do with the info, she said it gets deleted. She also claimed she already had all my details anyway, so I told her she didn’t need to bother talking to me. She just hung up. Honestly, one of the most ridiculous scam calls I’ve had!

Got a call from a firm called motor assist - they asked if I’d been in a crash within the past couple of years - said they wanted my info for some kind of database. When I asked which one, the woman just wouldn’t say. Asked what they’d do with my details, and she claimed they’d just delete it after. She even said she already had all my info, so I told her there was no point in talking. Then she just hung up. Honestly, one of the most ridiculous scam calls I’ve ever had.

Kept claiming they are "motor assist" who cooperate with UK insurance firms. Every time I asked which companies, they just kept repeating the same line. So I asked the Scouse woman I was talking to to name a few. She said the DVLA was an insurance company. Then she got all flustered and suddenly shouted "I'll have someone else call you back" before hanging up. Proper funny.
