Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, said her name was Annie - yeah right! Claimed she was from Openreach and that my internet had loads of errors. Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media. Felt a bit fishy, so I didn't buy it. Pretty sure it was just a scammer trying to get my info. Watch out, folks!

I got a call from 01892484318, but luckily they didn’t leave any voicemail even though my answerphone is usually switched on. From what I’ve seen here, it’s probably a scam and best to avoid. Sounds like it could be quite risky!

Got a call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk. I told them to ring me back from an official TalkTalk number but they never bothered. Pretty sure it’s a scam, so I’m going to block the number.

Got a robocall saying my NI number would be frozen by the Magistrates Court if I didn’t press 1 and talk to someone. Thing is, these scammers clearly have no clue how NI numbers actually work here - they’re given out at 16 and stay valid for life, there’s no such thing as blocking or suspending them. Honestly, if you get called by these numpties, just block the number straight away and let others know it’s a scam. They’re really pushy, so don’t waste time talking to them, just block after their first try.

Got a call on my phone from a recorded voice, threatening me about my national insurance number and some case with a reference number. It told me to press 1 to talk to an officer. I really wish I hadn’t answered, especially since I didn’t know the number. It felt like a proper scam. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.
