Just got a call on my home phone from a lady with a strong south-east Asian accent, asking if she’d reached me by my name. She mumbled something about who she was with - maybe a warranty on some appliance I used to have. She mentioned giving me back about £147. I hung up pretty quickly. Feels like one of those refund scams, probably would’ve tried to get my bank info next. The way she spoke made it seem like she was pressured or stressed to pull it off. SCAM for sure.
