Car Inspection place rang me on a different number some time back, so i blocked it. Today they called again and somehow knew all about a small accident (someone bumped into me) from 5 months ago. They kept pushing me, saying - why wouldn't you accept the cash? I asked them to put it in writing or email but they wouldn’t as they said ‘nobody ever replies.’ After that, their attitude shifted and they got pretty nasty and rude. I just hung up after that.

Got a call from someone sayin she’s Sophie Williams from a car assessment place, tryin to get me to sign a form at home so I can supposedly claim £2000. Sounds like a total scam to me - no idea where they got my number from.

Got a call from some vehicle inspection place about an accident I was involved in. They claimed they’d sorted out all the claims paperwork and sent it to my insurance company. I kept asking who exactly they were and how they got my details. Feels like the other driver’s insurer or the rental firm must’ve shared my info with somebody else. When I pressed them more, the caller suddenly said “bloody hell” and just ended the call.

Got a call today from something called The Vehicle Assessment Centre about a fender bender I had ages ago. No clue how they got my info, but I reckon it’s through Admiral Insurance. I’m gonna look into it using my GDPR rights.

Got multiple calls from a mobile number, so I called back and it was the Vehicle Assessment Centre looking for my grandad who had a minor accident a while ago. The rude bloke on the line said, “someone had a crash, what exactly do you want from us?” When I said, “nothing, it was dealt with ages ago,” he had the cheek to say, “then don’t bother ringing us.” After a few choice words from me, I just blocked the number immediately!

Got a call from some Vehicle Inspection place, total nightmare. I got yelled at for not admitting to some accident that never involved me. I’d let them have my number to be helpful but now it feels like a mistake. Got a call recently from a bloke who sounded proper convincing talkin' about a shunt. Said he could help us get about £1500 back from our insurance but then mentioned "the other side" was also making a claim on us. When we asked a few questions, he just cut the call straight away! What a total con!

Got a call from a company that said they were "IC solutions" or something like that. They wanted to talk about a car crash I supposedly had a couple of months ago. Thing is, I don't own a car at all! The lady on the phone said maybe it happened in another person's car, but it all sounded dodgy to me. Seems like a scam to me, so I just blocked the number.

I don’t get why they dialled my work number in the first place, so I just blocked it. Then they rang my autistic lad, who struggles to figure out when something’s a scam. He’s got loads of reminders stuck on his phone and around the house telling him not to share personal info, but he still ended up giving away when his accident happened (which wasn’t actually a car crash), exact time, full name, dob and even his mates’ details before I could stop him. These firms really should be shut down - it’s just not right to prey on people who find it hard to spot dodgy calls.

This number kept ringing me a few times every day, starting on my landline then my mobile, all about some compensation claim they wanted me to pursue. It was so frustrating. For nearly three weeks, I just ignored the calls hoping they’d quit, but they didn’t. Eventually my partner picked up and when they asked for me, he said we’d recently separated and I’d moved away. I’m glad to say I haven’t had any calls from them for about a week now, fingers crossed it’s finally stopped.

I keep receiving calls from these individuals wanting to discuss an accident involving my husband. The vehicle in question belongs to me, and all matters relating to the claim have already been resolved. There were no injuries to address, yet their behaviour is simply intolerable, often crossing the line into rudeness.
