I received a rather dubious call from someone purporting to be from HM Revenue & Customs, insisting I return the call by pressing 1 due to some sort of legal action looming over me. It struck me as highly suspicious, so I promptly blocked the number without a second thought.

Got a call back from this number early in the morning around 7:30am, and when I answered, nothing but silence on the other end. The tone when they called back seemed a bit off, so I reckon it’s most likely a scam.
