I received a pre-recorded voicemail indicating that I owed £600 to an international account. The message urged me to press 1 to get in touch with my bank. I chose to disregard it altogether. I find it hard to believe that a bank would use such a method to communicate with customers. To be honest, I reckon any genuine financial institution would steer clear of recorded messages like this. It's clearly a scam. I can only imagine the potential hassle I could have faced had I actually pressed that button.
