Got a really odd call supposedly from Monzo saying I needed to confirm a payment to Apple with some code. They mentioned a reference like RBSJ and gave me this 01889 743629 number to ring if I thought it was fraud. Thing is, I’ve never had an account with Monzo or Apple, and that number is just a regular landline in Rugeley. Felt pretty fishy to me.
