I keep getting calls from scammers pretending to be BT Openreach, asking for my bank info to ‘sort out my internet’. It’s the same lot ringing back every few hours. One of them even got rude and said they’d call me “over and over, just like your dad.” Proper creepy!

Had a call from an Asian gentleman claiming to be Roger, who stated he was representing BT Openreach and was inquiring about my Internet connectivity. I put a halt to his spiel and quizzed him on whether he was merely reciting from a prepared script. At that point, he swiftly disconnected. Total scammers, if you ask me!

Picked up the call and it just ended straight away. This is like the third time this has happened today, they always just hang up. It’s been going on non stop - might have to consider chucking the phone soon.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent about my internet broadband. When I asked where exactly she was calling from, she wasn’t very clear. I probably came across as doubtful, and then they just hung up on me.

got a call from some bloke pretending to be from open reach, wanted to get into my computer. i told him right away i knew it was a con and then he went on saying now he could see my bank stuff since i’d talked to him. called my bank just to double check and they said no way, but still, it was pretty creepy.

Sounds like another scam to me, just like the others posted here. The moment I picked up, an automated voice just said "goodbye". I'm guessing they’re hoping I’d call them back. I've blocked the number now.

Right after I picked up, I got an automatic voice saying "goodbye" straight away.

I got a call from someone called George, claiming he was from Openreach and needed to sort out my internet. It turned out he was actually based in India and trying to get into my computer. When I asked him a few questions, he promptly ended the call.

It was Openreach on the line, but the bloke just said "nother dobe" or summat like that. Quite confusing, really.
