I've received a second phone call, and wouldn't you know it, the same spiel but from a different number. They’re pretending to be from the HMRT, claiming there’s some sort of legal action pending against me-encouraging me to press 1 for more information. I’ve already brought this to the attention of Revenue and Taxes, and they assured me that they only communicate through traditional mail. Clearly, this is nothing more than a dodgy scam!
