But on rare occasions when I do answer without checking who’s calling, they just drop the call right away. It kinda takes me back to the childish pranks where we'd call and just hang up on people. Seems like those childish antics have turned round and annoyed me now!

My mate picked up the phone when some bloke called. He claimed to be from ICS, but when we asked what ICS actually was, he just ended the call right away. Definitely sounded like a call centre and there’s no way he was calling from around Turriff.

Some geezer rang me saying he was from this ICS lot, going on about an accident or whatever. I just told him to jog on. After that, he started shouting and being proper rude.

I got a call from a woman who said her name was Vicky. She had a strong Liverpool accent, which seemed odd cos the number was from Aberdeen. She claimed to be from some firm called ICS and started talking about an accident I supposedly had a few years back. The weirdest part? She called me by my maiden name, which I haven't been called in ages. Made me really curious how they even found that out!
