I didn’t pick up and just let it go to voicemail, but they didn’t even bother leaving a message. After reading through all the comments, I’ve gone ahead and marked it as a scam and blocked the number. Would recommend others do the same.

Today, 12th June 2022, I got a call from this number claiming to be a follow-up from Santander bank. Trouble is, I already knew the first call was a scam trying to rip me off. So when this guy called again, I told him straight up I wasn’t interested in chatting. I’d already rang my bank after his earlier call and they confirmed nothing dodgy was going on. I let him know right away his call was a scam and then just ended the call.

I got a call from a bloke who couldn’t hear a word I said, although I could hear him loud and clear - same background noise I’ve been hearing on calls lately about someone messing with my BT internet. He ended up just hanging up, so I blocked the number straight away. I’m sure they’ll try again soon from another number, and when they do, I’m thinking I’ll ask if they’re there to take my takeaway order and see how they react!

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise. It rang a couple of times but I didn’t pick up.

I received a pre-recorded message that started off in Mandarin, followed by an English translation, claiming to be from the Ministry of Health regarding vaccinations!

Somewoman picked up and told me I’m being taken to court. I just hung up straight away, figured it was one of those scams.

I’ve had about 4 calls this week from someone claiming there’s a problem with my BT internet. Really annoying!
