At 08:53 on the 17th of November, this number popped up on our phone but luckily Call Guardian stopped us from even seeing it. I only found out about the call after checking the report, and honestly, it really made me appreciate having Call Guardian in place. We’ve blocked the number now, hoping no one has fallen victim to those nasty scammers who think it’s alright to cheat people out of their cash. I saw that the call logs only cover two days, so I guess they’ve abandoned this number and are probably using a different one now.

I can't believe they’re trying to con people as old as 92 and 96, it’s just disgraceful what these scumbags get up to. They really have no shame messing with the elderly like that.

Got caught up in a bank fraud where they tricked me into spending £300 on Amazon and then sending an international transfer of £1100. They used all sorts of threats about card payments to scare me.

Got two calls this morning from what sounded like a bank, about 45 minutes apart. They claimed there were two suspicious charges on my account - one from Amazon and another for an overseas transfer. They told me to press 1 I believe to verify, but right as I was going to hang up, the automated voice went all garbled and then dropped the call. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a voicemail saying it was my bank's Security Team, though they didn’t say which bank. It mentioned two dodgy transactions, one local and one abroad, both for quite a bit of cash. Told me to hit 1 to verify or 2 to chat with the “Security Department”. Pretty obvious it was a scam so I just ended the call.

Got calls from some dodgy numbers, all saying something about bank transfers with a pre-recorded message. They kept ringing back from loads of different fake numbers, and bizarrely some of the numbers they used actually belong to real people. Proper scam stuff.
