Got a call from 118 online, the guy was proper rude. He wanted to speak to the owner right away and just ended the call when I said I work at reception. Bit daft really, since receptionists are the ones that actually answer calls. Plus, I can't imagine any business owner taking a call like that from a random number.

I picked up but there was nothing on the other side, just quiet for a bit then a robot voice said “goodbye” and the call dropped.

The voice was really hard to make out, but I think it was one of those annoying sales calls about SEO or something. I told them I wasn't interested and ended the call, only for them to ring me again from a different number - 01224 506678. Didn’t expect that!
