Got a call from someone claiming to be with Sky research, wanting to ask about any issues with the service. When I questioned him, he threw out a price for my cover that was way off. Ended up just hanging up on him.

Got a call from an Asian lady who wanted my name and said she had some good news since I own a house in the UK. Apparently, I qualify for a free Energy Survey to cut down on bills. Total nonsense if you ask me. I didn’t even bother replying, just ended the call straight away.

Got a call on my landline from a recorded message saying thanks for ringing their help service and that they’d connect me to an advisor soon. Felt like a complete scam to me, so I just blocked the number straight away. Total waste of time.

It's been a short break, but those pesky scammers have started ringing my home phone once more. Really grateful to have Call Guardian to block them!

Got a call from someone with a thick accent asking about my heating. Could barely catch what they were saying. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

He had a really thick Indian accent and called himself John, which I found hard to believe. Claimed he was ringing from British Telecom about my internet connection. I just told him to buzz off and try scamming someone else.
