He had an accent that seemed like it was from Pakistan or India (Asia's a huge place, but he definitely didn't sound East Asian or Chinese). He asked me if I'd got my covid jab and then started trying to push life insurance on me.

Just got a call from an Asian woman claiming to be calling about Covid 19 for the NHS. She asked if I’d had my vaccine, but when I asked who she was and why she was ringing me, she cut me off straight away. Proper strange, feels like a scam to me. Best to just block or not answer next time.

Somebody called me saying they were from the NHS and wanted to check if I’d had both COVID vaccines and how I was feeling afterwards. Then they suddenly asked if I had life insurance. I told them that’s private and not their concern. The person insisted the NHS needed to know because the government was supposedly providing insurance if you didn’t have any. A guy with an Asian accent rang me, asking if I was Mrs (first name) and then started asking about my covid vaccine status. When I asked who was calling, he said something about covid and the NHS. I asked to speak to a manager and got put through to another Asian bloke. I asked where he was calling from and he said London. I played along for a bit, then he asked if I had extra cover besides my GP and kept bringing up insurance. I just ended the call after that.
