So this number popped up, said it was my bank, but turns out it’s actually registered to I. Butterworth from Tigerton. What’s going on with that?

Got a call this morning, 30th April, from the number 01884 859425, seemed dodgy so I just hung up straight away. Later I called the number back and yep, turns out it was a scam probably linked to some sort of bank fraud. Best to watch out for calls from that number.
