Received a call today from someone purporting to be from BT, which is a bit puzzling since we don't actually use their services. When I told him I'm a solicitor - and indeed I am - he promptly launched into a tirade of swear words. I couldn't help but notice his accent seemed to hint at either Indian or Pakistani origins; I’ve had my fair share of experience working in the Middle East, so I’m not entirely unfamiliar. It’s becoming rather tiresome, this scenario is now an almost weekly occurrence. We're thoroughly fed up with it all! Moreover, trying to reach out to "FRAUD" has proved to be next to pointless.

I had a rather distressing phone call today. The caller purported to be from BT, which is rather amusing since we don’t even use their services! When I informed him that I’m a solicitor, he responded by hurling a barrage of expletives at me. I couldn’t quite place his accent, but he appeared to be of Asian descent-possibly Indian or Pakistani; I might add that I have spent a fair amount of time in the Middle East. It’s become a bit of a regular nuisance, these calls, surfacing at least once a week, and quite frankly, we’re all rather tired of it. Moreover, trying to report these incidents through "FRAUD" seems to be a complete and utter waste of time.
