When I picked up, no one said anything at first. I had to tell them they dialled me. After that, they began saying my full name, but as soon as I wanted to know who was calling, they just cut the call. Clearly, the TPS isn't doing its job.

The number 01884 678476 has been bugging me lots lately. Every time I pick up, the call just cuts off, and it happens multiple times a day. I haven't the faintest idea who it is. I've gone ahead and blocked the number on my phone and also reached out to the Telephone Preference Service to get it added to their no-calling list.

Got a missed call from this number at the same time as 01455342717. The second one stayed silent and then ended the call straight away. Looks like an automatic dialer or something. I've blocked both now.

I've been getting these calls roughly twice a month. When I pick up there's silence, just some pauses, and then they end the call. I doubt it's genuinely from a local number, maybe it's just being redirected through a local line.
