The bloke said he was with Albany Insurance and told me I’d been in an accident two years ago and had a courtesy car at the time. I told him that wasn’t right and he had the wrong person. Then he asked if I lived at an old address I used to have years ago, but definitely not anymore. I got a bit worried someone might’ve rented a car pretending to be me. He tried to brush it off, said it was probably just a mistake and nothing to stress about. Felt a bit fishy though, like some sort of scam or phishing attempt.
