The bloke then asked if I was positive I hadn’t applied for anything, I said definitely, then asked again to be taken off their system. To my surprise, he said no and just hung up on me! I quickly let them know I work in ICT security and called them out for being scammers, making it clear I wouldn’t give them the code from my email.
