They called claiming to be from an energy saving firm. When I told them the person who lived there recently passed away, they just went silent and cut off. Truly awful behaviour.

This was one of those dodgy calls claiming to be from Oxford, but the area code was actually from Tiverton! Definitely a scammer trying to pull a fast one.
