Received a call today featuring an automated voice claiming my internet service would be cut off later in the day. Clearly a scam! So irritating, these sneaky tactics.

I reckon it’s someone from TalkTalk’s security team, sometimes it’s a robot call, sometimes a person. I got one earlier which was automatic, and it said they’d disconnect my broadband that very day if I didn’t respond. If you don’t pick up, it just ends the call and then our phone goes straight to voicemail.
