I picked up the phone since the number looked local, only to be greeted with a message saying, "This is a bank alert." I promptly hung up and, out of curiosity, tried calling back while hiding my number, but I couldn’t get through at all! Clearly, this is a scam trying to impersonate a bank, so it’s best to approach this with caution and disdain.
