Got a call just before 8 this morning, didn’t even catch the phone ringing downstairs. Then on Saturday morning before nine, I received another call from a different number, which I think were the same lot. Sounds like another one of those dodgy foreign scams pretending to be from TalkTalk.

Received a rather unsettling call this morning, precisely at 8:10 AM on the 10th of September, 2018. It was a pre-recorded message informing me that my internet connection would be cut off today. Naturally, I promptly ended the call.

I’ve received calls from this number both on Saturday and again today, which is Monday, the 10th of September. Strangely, they haven’t left any messages on my voicemail.

Got a few calls claiming to be TalkTalk, ringing my folks up about their internet being in trouble. They kept telling them to press a key to reach tech support, with this robotic voice. I heard about 3 different calls, each saying the internet would be disconnected within 48 hours, then 24, then even today - like a countdown ticking down. Proper dodgy stuff.

Got a call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk tech support, asked me to press some keys about broadband. Sounded like they weren’t local, maybe from India or somewhere similar. I didn’t listen properly or do anything they said. I’m not even with TalkTalk anymore, but still get these annoying calls, and when I told TalkTalk, they just didn’t care. The call centre’s overseas and hard to understand, which just makes it worse. Totally useless service from them.
