Got a call from some fake Indian call centre claiming to be "Visa Security". They tried to scare me into thinking there was suspicious activity on my bank card and said someone inside the bank was involved. Their trick was to get me to transfer money into a "safe account" or do some sort of "test transaction" they told me to do. Of course, the money just ends up getting nicked. Sometimes they even ask you to send cash, a cheque, or your debit card to a supposed "bank officer," who’s really just a con artist. Watch out for these scams!
