I got a call from a woman on 17/09/18 at about 09:10. She sounded like she wasn’t from around here and claimed she was calling on behalf of Microsoft, saying my computer was infected or something. She asked if I’d let her fix the problems, which obviously meant giving her access to my system - no chance. When I asked for her name or a number to ring back, she refused to share any info proving she worked for Microsoft. Then she just hung up. It’s pretty clear this was a scam. I haven’t heard anything from Microsoft since, so they’re definitely not involved.

All I got was quiet for a bit, then some automated voice telling me the caller hung up. Looks like just another scammy robo call or phishing attempt.

All I got was silence at first, then suddenly a voice popping up saying the caller had hung up. Definitely one of those spam or phishing bot calls again.
