11 yearsI had quite a bizarre experience recently! A bunch of unknown callers were in fits of laughter while I was on the line, and then abruptly cut me off! When I tried to return the call, I was greeted with a message saying that the number isn’t in operation. It certainly piques my curiosity - do they now have a grasp of our local area codes and only ring those they think might actually pick up?11 yearsA young woman rang me claiming to be from ‘ARCS group’ regarding an accident - which, I must clarify, I’ve never experienced. Oddly enough, she knew my first name. I requested she remove my information from her records. When she probed me on the reason for my request, I informed her quite unequivocally that it was a nuisance call. Upon hearing this, she insisted it wasn’t spam. So, I pressed her on what 'ARCS' stands for, and there was a noticeable pause before she abruptly disconnected the call. Quite telling, don’t you think?11 yearsI received a call where they supposedly wanted to chat with me using my first name about an accident I'd never had? It's absolute nonsense, as I've not been in an accident at all. I only picked up because it showed as a local number on my phone. But when I called the number back, a recorded message informed me that it wasn't in service anymore. The voice sounded distinctly American and female.
