The number showed up as Isle of Jura, which I've never had any connection with, so I just blocked it. From what I've read here, it’s obviously a scam. I keep an eye on these calls and block them when they pop up, and it’s actually stopped loads coming through. They usually give up when no one picks up anyway. Honestly, what a pointless exercise for them - don’t know what they’re even trying to achieve. It’s all just a bit of a joke really.

Then they asked if my GP had handed me a barcode certificate, I said no, and the caller mentioned they'd send me one soon? They also tried to find out if I had life insurance, but once I said I wasn’t interested, they said they weren’t trying to sell anything. Honestly, I’m not sure if it’s some sort of scam or not, but the call felt a bit off, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.
