I promptly blocked this number and reached out to BT, but to my dismay, they seemed utterly uninterested, asserting that there was nothing they could do. Given the advancements in technology, it’s quite disheartening to experience such poor customer service - I’m really not pleased with BT. The caller was automated, claiming my broadband and phone line would be disconnected today, urging me to press 1 for assistance. Clearly, it was just a scam, so I’ve promptly deleted the number and put up a block.
