Don’t fall for this, it’s a scam call from overseas with an Indian accent. I’m not trying to be racist, just warning you all based on my experience.

Got a call from what looked like a Scottish number but the voice was clearly Indian. There was this awful noise of people shouting in the background like some call centre. The woman asked if she was speaking to the person she intended. I answered with ‘ maybe, who’s asking then?’. She got quite rude and said, ‘ so is it you or no?’. I told her ‘ only if you’re not some scammer’. Before I could even finish, she just cut me off. I’ve blocked the number and reported it, hope you lot mess up next time, scammers.

Got a call from a Scottish number but the voice had a foreign accent, asking if I usually read the morning paper. When I asked why, they said it was for some sort of survey. I’m sure they would have kept asking questions, so I told them I wasn’t interested and they just hung up. I’ve blocked the number now.
