A call that just rang and had no one on the other end? Quite bothersome, I must say!

Earlier today, this number phoned us twice claiming there was an issue with our computer. We simply mentioned that we already had someone scheduled to check it out and then hung up.

We had a call earlier today, and I must say, we're quite miffed. My partner answered with a rather loud and hearty "HELLO!" but the blighters just hung up on us without another word. Quite infuriating, really!

We never got around to responding to that.

I received a rather dubious call from a chap named 'Rocky'-he had a pretty thick Indian accent and claimed to be ringing from BT. He was insisting that my computer was plagued with malware and that it was downloading all sorts of rogue applications, making my system sluggish and potentially damaging my hard drive. Honestly, I didn’t stick around for any of his spiel; I simply hung up before he could pry any personal info out of me.

I recently received a call from someone claiming to be from the IT Department at BT, wanting to have a chat about my computer. I made it perfectly clear that I wouldn’t be sharing any information about my machine with a stranger over the phone. He tried to debate the point, but I simply ended the call. Honestly, I feel sorry for those who might be gullible enough to get caught up in this nonsense!

What an absolute pain these folks are! I've been inundated with persistent silent calls, coming through multiple times a day. A quick search on Google indicates this might be linked to Telemarketing UK, specifically www.djrmarketing.co.uk. If you're experiencing the same, I'd recommend lodging a complaint with Ofcom at http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/2012/10/abandoned-and-silent-calls. It's about time we put a stop to this nonsense!

I've just had a rather amusing conversation with a couple of individuals claiming to be from BT Vision. They told me that they were keeping an eye on my BT account and had detected some dodgy downloads on my computer. Quite the revelation, considering I don’t even own a computer-only iPhones and iPads! The fellow's command of English was rather shaky, and they repeatedly tried to coax me into answering their questions. They even insisted I switch on my computer, which was rather perplexing. When I pressed them about their location, they insisted they were from BT Vision, then mistakenly said BT Visa a couple of times. The background noise was like a busy marketplace, filled with others-clearly a group of scammers likely operating from India. Just a heads up to everyone: I tried to call the number back, but it wasn’t recognised, which only confirms my suspicions about these fraudsters. Stay vigilant, folks!

Received a rather dodgy call earlier from someone whose grasp of English left much to be desired. They were bleating on about how my computer was supposedly downloading hazardous software while I was browsing. Really, it’s nothing more than a fraudster trying their luck. Stay alert, everyone!
