Got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying they were from BT, claiming my PC was infected and that I needed to tweak my router settings. I asked for their contact number so I could ring them back and make sure it was legit (but I kinda knew it was dodgy). As soon as I asked, the line just went dead. The number they called from was 01877 244429, and it was around 12.25pm on 11th January 2018.

At work, we get these calls pretty often but since we don't have caller ID, I have no clue what number they’re ringing from. And yeah, my computer's fine, cheers. Tell them to bugger off!
