I got a call from some automated system with a bloke speaking in a British accent, claiming to be from the ‘technical team at British Telecom’. He said my internet and landline were about to be cut off, and I had to press 1 to chat with the techs and sort it out, or press 2 if I wanted to cancel the service. This was the second time today! The first call came from 02083258216. Considering my internet and phone are still fine and I don’t even have BT, you can probably guess how amateur these scammers are. Needless to say, I've added the number to my block list.
