I received a call from someone purporting to be from Amazon's customer support. Initially, I assumed it had to do with a recent delivery I had placed a couple of days back. However, things took a turn when they began prattling on about Amazon Prime and insisted I cough up £80 for some sort of subscription. It dawned on me at that point that it was nothing more than a sordid scam.

This caller said they were from Amazon Prime and warned me about a charge of £79.99 coming out of my bank. I've already ended my prime subscription, so I'm sure it was a scam.
