I recently received a call from someone who sounded like they were based overseas (possibly India), and they asserted that my internet connection had been compromised and was allegedly being used by several others. To make matters even more unsettling, he was familiar with my complete name and postcode!

some bloke with an indian accent rang me claiming he was from bt. he said my internet was fine but someone had hacked it and loads of people were using it. he even knew my postcode, probably picked it up from an old phone book or something. i told him it sounded dodgy and hung up straight away.
