So, we keep getting calls from people pretending to be from BT, warning us that our internet will be disconnected in a day - it’s always the same lady speaking with an American accent. Lately, we’ve even been getting messages claiming to be from Amazon, the last one was this morning. We just hang up as soon as we hear it’s a scam.

I got a call that just hung up straight away before I could even pick up - it ended up on my voicemail but there was no message left. Looks like it might be one of those dodgy numbers linked to an Amazon account hack like the spam calls I’ve been getting loads recently.

Got three calls like this over the last few days. They kept saying my subscription would renew by itself, then said to press 1 to talk to a manager if I wanted to stop it. It sounded dodgy, so I just hung up straight away.
