They claimed to be from Microsoft but it was clearly a scam.

Someone called me about a loan, but they wanted me to pay £140 upfront first. I looked into the company and soon realised it was a scam. When I challenged the guy on the phone, he was an Indian man who kept insisting they were legit. I told him the company isn’t even registered, and he suddenly got rude and said weird stuff like “I know who you are.” Since then, he’s been ringing me repeatedly and hanging up on purpose. I’ve already informed the fraud authorities about this.

I tried ringing this number and got told it wasn’t recognised. The location said Tranent, Scotland. Sounds a bit like the Amazon Prime scam numbers I’ve seen about. Anyone else had the same?
