The number was unfamiliar, but I picked up the call. A woman named Crystal claimed to be contacting me about a recent purchase of a £799 iPhone. I told her straight away that I hadn’t bought any phone, let alone an iPhone. She tried to argue, but I firmly repeated that I never placed such an order and warned that if she didn’t delete my information from their system, I’d report her to the police. I ended the call quickly before she could say more. To me, this was a harassing scam call, and I reckon it could be quite risky for others.
