Some bloke rang up saying he was from Citizens Advice. He used my nickname instead of my full name, which made me wonder if another firm passed my number on without asking me. He started jabbering about some debt I supposedly owe. I told him, no way, I don’t owe anything. Then he mentioned life insurance and asked which company it was with. I told him I don’t have any life insurance, simple as that. Then he snapped, “you’re lying, so I’ll keep ringing you every day.” Seemed dodgy to me. I’d say don’t give them any of your details, just block them.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Amazon, telling my mum there was suspicious activity on her account. When she logged onto her laptop, somehow they managed to get into it and could actually see her account details. She ended the call straight away and rang the official fraud department. They tried to convince her to move money, and honestly, they were nearly about to scam her out of her entire savings!
